Review:
... not a movie, but the number of self-professed Holmes fans who apparently do not have a clue about Holmes. For the record, Holmes was a miserable, irresponsible drug addict who really sleep on the floor, insult his best friend, experiment on your dog, and never wore deerstalkers cover (at least, not until the TV had not been invented). He was a brawler who practiced martial arts, and were more likely to slum around in dirty rags, he was suit.It was not until after Dr. Watson picked it up, he really refined itself and became a respected member of the community. So, we can say that this movie takes place at the beginning of their relationship, because Watson is not married to his wife (retconning really annoyed me, too, by the way, but you just can not avoid some rethinking here and there) . Talking about the inevitable, Irene Adler, Holmes one uncapturable (is that a word?), Just had to be cast as a potential love interest. Flirt, romance, and nearly makeup of the session were irresistible to the director (and all viewers prostitute honest with yourself). That being said, I felt like Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes, played to perfection. Its characteristic caustic attitude towards Lestrade and even from time to time Watson was exactly how to present it Id. No one, regardless of the patient or forgiving, weathered Holmes forever without accidentally confrontation. The original Holmes in the end, was not above insulting his best friend, or even making fun of his deductive capabilities from time to time. However, Watson could never abandon a friend in his time need.This version (or vision, if you will) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyles greatest creation may be more persistent, more fun, more pungent than any other incarnation, but it does not make it any less close to the original.
