Review:
I grew up watching Arnold, I have all his movies, I'm what you might call a big fan of Schwarzenegger. I have waited ten years for him to return to cinema and I was not disappointed. Last Stand is not perfect, but fans can enjoy Arnold, because he really is back! The restaurant (for those who havent seen the trailer a dozen times like me) is a Mexican cartel boss (Eduardo Noriega) escaped custody during transport and go to the border with Mexico, and he will get there, passing through the sleepy town Sommerton, Arizona. Arnold is the sheriff in sleepy town, and he is FBI last hope to stop the ruthless gangster. This movie is full of intense, bloody action, thrilling car chases (thanks to the Corvette ZR1 supped with over a thousand horsepower!) And insert humor. The film never takes itself too seriously (which is good) and is surprisingly entertaining throughout. Arnold's acting is a little rusty, but no more so than on the action scenes. And (many) action sequences were exciting and bloody theater kept cheering loudly. Stimulation was perfect, the film flew by.The staff was great ... Luis Guzman's funny how Arnold's deputy director Forest Whitaker as the lead FBI agent Peter Stormare as a manic villain right hand, Johnny Knoxville as the town clown, Harry Dean Stanton as a crotchety old farmer, and the list goes ... The movie was everything I wanted to film Arnold, it's fun (!), Full fast action and a lot of (ridiculous) one-liners. Non-Arnold fan probably will not get much from this, but this movie was made for fans of Arnold and consumables.
